San Salvatore Village

POSITIONE: 11,1 km

DESCRIPTION: the village has been lived since 6.000-4.500 b.c, in the Neolitic period. The hypogean, sacred well is the oldest architectural structure of the area and belongs to the period before the nuragich culture.

The sanctuary was used for the water cult, then for the Sid cult by the Punichs (Sid was their healer God) and it was dedicated for Asclepio during the Romans period and in the end it was dedicated to San Salvatore in the Christian period.
