Tharros

Tharros was founded by Phoenicians in the 10th century b.c, then in the 8th century b.c became an important Carthaginian centre and also a Roman colony until the 1070 when the town was abandoned under the pressure of the Arabic incursions.

The Pond and the fish-pond of Cabras

The pond of Cabras it’s one of the most important damp area in Sardinia, thanks to its extension and its biodiversity. It’s situated in the northern side of the Oristano’s Gulf and powered by the Riu Sa Praia river and comunicates with the Sardinia’s sea because of natural and artificial canals.

The Oasis of Seu is situated in the splendid Sinis’s Peninsula, along the two costs of San Giovanni and Punta Is Arutas. The Oasis is characterized by caves, beaches rocks and in the north side there are sand dunes but inside there are rocks.

San Salvatore Village

The village has been lived since 6.000-4.500 b.c, in the Neolitic period. The hypogean, sacred well is the oldest architectural structure of the area and belongs to the period before the nuragich culture.

Nuraghe Losa

The nuragich complex, trace the origin of XV-XIV century b.c ( in the Bronze Age), it’s building with big ”basalto” blocks. The Nuraghe is compose to: a principal tower, another three towers and also a surrounding wall that locks up the whole complex and inside you can found the village remains.
